Participants should be one of the followings:
  • Internet Access / Services providers (IAPs or ISPs), Telecommunication Services providers etc. with proper licenses to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Local or International Research, Education or Academic Networks.
  • International network services providers and Internet exchanges.

(AS numbers need to be obtained from APNIC or others. If they are single-homed, their upstream providers need only send a BGP default route to them).
  • Participants must be self-sufficient. For example, they should have their own primary DNS, Email, WWW and News servers.
  • The connections of participants to IXSA must be at Ethernet Fiber (Single/Multimode LC).
  • The data links to IXSA and the routers located at the data center MUST be provided by the participants.
